Dannieka Cuttino, born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Georgetown, SC, found her interest for the arts at a very young age. Growing up in a single mother household, not having a relationship with her father, and facing other adversity and obstacles was tough for Dannieka. To escaped from everything, and to express herself, Dannieka watched movies, wrote short stories and took pictures, to create stories of how she felt and how wanted her life to be like. Dannieka knew she loved movies and taking pictures, but she never thought her love for the arts would lead her to a career in Film and Photography.
Dannieka has a M.A in Film and TV Production from Savannah College of Art and Design. She's also a proud alumna of the illustrious, Claflin University, where she obtained her B.A. in Mass Communication. She is currently a freelance photographer and videographer of her company "SheTheCamera". Dannieka career goal is to become a Film Director/Producer/Writer, start her own production company and become a Sports and Fashion illustrated photographer. Dannieka enjoys and appreciate the creative process of storytelling. Directing, Writing and Photographing is her outlet to tell stories from her experiences, the world from her point of view, and to inspire and motivate her viewers.
“Through my work of art I want to continue to tell stories and create a positive impact that change lives. I want to inspire and motivate everyone who has ever felt lost in their craft or fell hopeless. – Dannieka Cuttino
